SENATE BILL NO. 100 "An Act making supplemental and special                    
appropriations for the expenses of state government; making,                   
amending, and repealing capital and operating appropriations; and              
providing for an effective date" which had been placed at the bottom           
of today's calendar was read the second time.                                  
                                                                               
Senator Pearce moved and asked unanimous consent that the Finance              
Committee Substitute offered on page 1001 be adopted.  Senator                 
Duncan objected.                                                               
                                                                               
Senator Duncan called the Senate on the bill.  The call was satisfied.         
                                                                               
Senator Duncan withdrew his objection.  There being no further                 
objection, CS FOR SENATE BILL NO. 100(FIN) was adopted.                        
                                                                               
CS FOR SENATE BILL NO. 100(FIN) was read the second time.
